As Design Manager for this Chelsea Harbour and Surrey based brand, Katie headed up the Design Team to deliver high end residential projects to UK and international private clients. With full client facing responsibilities Katie knew the importance of strong communication to develop the Client-Designer relationship. Face to face meetings, on site brainstorming, exploration of the brief and lifestyle analysis all helped build a stronger design direction. Clients were incredibly busy, time poor, and not always in the country, so such time and focus was precious. Predominantly the client brief was quality, luxury and originality; and as well-travelled individuals they favoured a distinctive global design philosophy. With generous budgets and mansion size properties there was plenty of scope for Bespoke commissions. This allowed full creativity to be explored and designs to be luxurious in finish and style. Baccarat chandeliers, Fromenthal hand painted silk wallpaper and in house soft furnishings completed the luxurious schemes.
